Some of the music they used was a little corny, but what can you expect from a sports anime?Д¬haracter: I don't really know what to put for character. Ever sound effect was greatly placed, everything sounded perfect. Sound: It sounded like a fight, like a hard gritty fight.and that's all that should matter. They change angles constantly and watching the fighting was simply amazing. I don't think they reused any of their frames. The anime is about fighting.nothing else should really matter. However, I'm completely missing the point.

Well.not ugly so much as plain, predictable, and very boring and awkward to look at. The art is shown in it's worst light when it comes to females. The faces are very square, bruises are represented by lots of lines.just small little things that add up to art that doesn't really impress. The characters look a lot smoother and look more human, less squished. This happens two or three times in really quick succession and it's the only bad thing about the fighting.ДЄrt: A HUGE improvement from the beginning of the anime series. However there were a couple times that just bugged me a little bit, such as when Ippo just gets beaten SO hard and he's ABOUT to fall down.but doesn't. This isn't Naruto where a fight can get boring and you sort of skip through scenes, the fighting in this is intense and got my adrenaline pumping at certain moments. The way the fight unfolds kept me completely interested in it for the entire hour-long duration of the film. Since Ippo is fighting a medical student the guy knows exactly where to hit to hurt someone.and he does. Really matter, what mattered was the fighting.

But in the 90 minute movie about an hour of that is fighting. The romance bit was tacked on, but it kind of felt alright if not a little bit out of place. Story: Essentially Ippo is fighting a medical student. Originally I was searching for Ashita no Joe, but then Hajime no Ippo caught my eye.

I'm not a fan of sports anime/manga in general, but when I see something that catches my eye, I'll watch it whatever it is. Thus Ippo's journey to the top of the boxing world begins.Champion Road, the amazing conclusion to a very long and amazing anime. With a sudden desire to get stronger, for himself and his hard working mother, Ippo trains relentlessly to accomplish the task within the time limit. Thinking that Ippo does not have what it takes, Takamura gives him a task deemed impossible and gives him a one week time limit. It is only then that Ippo feels something stir inside him and eventually asks Takamura to train him in boxing. Takamura places a photo of Ippo's classmate on a punching bag and forces him to punch it. As he regains consciousness, he is awed and amazed at his new surroundings in the gym, though lacks confidence to attempt anything.

Ippo faints from his injuries and is brought to the Kamogawa boxing gym to recover. One day, in the midst of yet another bullying, Ippo is saved by Takamura Mamoru, who happens to be a boxer. Constantly running errands and being beaten up by his classmates, Ippo has always dreamed of changing himself, but never has the passion to act upon it. Hajime no Ippo (Fighting Spirit) - Makunouchi Ippo has been bullied his entire life.
